TotalWeb Partners (TWP) teamed up with Twin City Fun, a vibrant local event planning group in Festus, MO, to transform their digital presence into a community-centric hub that makes discovering and joining local events easier than ever.
Our design evolution shifted the focus from a basic informational site to an interactive, mobile-first event platform:
- Mobile-First Accessibility (PWA): We developed a Progressive Web App (PWA), allowing community members to view schedules and sign up for events directly from their mobile home screens, mimicking a native app experience without the download hurdles.
- Interactive Event Management: The new site features a dynamic upcoming events calendar coupled with a seamless registration and sign-up system, making it effortless for attendees to secure their spots.
- Logistical Integration: To support event-day success, we integrated a map of bus routes specifically for their events, ensuring attendees have clear transportation guidance.
- Community & Growth Tools: We built a past event gallery to showcase their successful history, a dedicated event sponsorship section to drive revenue, and a careers module to help the organization grow its team.
- Visual & Trust Elements: Using custom iconography and a dedicated certifications section, we professionalized the brand. We also streamlined the contact process to improve communication with vendors and local partners.
- Modern Architecture: Built on the latest web technology, the site is optimized for speed and local search, ensuring Festus residents find “Twin City Fun” the moment they look for local activities.
This partnership has turned Twin City Fun’s website into a true community engine, bridging the gap between local event planning and modern digital convenience.
